Whether it is in the private sector, general public, or civil services, NAUI
instructors across the globe continue to promote and educate safe diving and
environmental awareness. The Dutch Military Scuba Diving Club, 'The Corpsdivers'
stationed in Muenster, Germany can contest to this. Each year, military
personnel and their families come together for an annual trip to the Netherlands
to visit the province of Zeeland that consists of a number of islands and is in
fact is one big river delta formed by three main rivers: the Rhine, Waal, and
Meuse. The Oosterscheldes’rich and diverse marine life offers the curious

NAUI Europe visited together with Alain Sassine (NAUI REP in Lebanon)
the Dubai Boat and Dive show. The second time diving was on this show
and a good reason for NAUI to do meet and greets with NAUI members and
ofcourse potential new NAUI members.
Dubai shows the world what is technical possible on all levels, so we can imagine an indoor-ocean being
a fact in Dubai in nearby future.
The dive industry in the UAE is still very young and the divesites are at this moment especially in the north of the emirates.

On the dive show in Holland NAUI created a NAUI street. This was a long
street with NAUI members on both sides promoting the teaching system
and their business. The NAUI street was the most bussy street on the
show and some instructors crossed the street and used it as a cross
over street. The pictures shows that it was really more people in the
NAUI street then any other street on the show. There was a lot to see
and a lot to do and even a lot to win. Lucas Diving gave away a real
dive computer in a price winning contest. There were dive
demonstrations and there were dive schools/centres from Red Sea, Spain,
Egypt, Holland, Curaçao and many more.
